ADVENT LAW LAUNCHED TO CUT CLAIMS COSTS

Advent Claims, the specialist claims consulting and outsource services provider, has launched Advent Law, an authorised alternative business structure (ABS) company, in partnership with law firm The Clarke Partnership.

Working alongside UK insurers’ claims departments, Advent Law will enable insurers to gain a tighter grip on claims handling costs amid a changing and challenging legal landscape.

Specialist solicitors will assess all claims to eliminate potential issues that could surface later in the process. In addition, Advent’s proprietary web-based claims management platform Advantage offers total end-to-end claims management, data capture and reporting. This provides insurers with a far clearer view of claims through enhanced management information, which also highlights areas requiring improvement.

With adaptable processes, Advent Law also removes the need for insurers to invest in claims structures that may need to alter radically over time. Legislative reforms regarding road traffic accident personal injury claims, for example, are set to bring significant changes and may also present operational challenges and additional competitive pressures.
