ADVENT INSURANCE MANAGEMENT APPOINTS EX-CMGL FOUNDER And CEO

Advent Insurance Management (Advent), the specialist provider of support services for delegated authority underwriting businesses and global claims TPA services, today announces the appointment of Jerry McArthur who, after completion of his notice period, will become Chief Executive.

Jerry joins Advent from FTI Consulting where he founded and led its London-based EMEA Insurance Practice as Senior Managing Director. He brings over 25 years’ senior executive experience to Advent, gained in the UK, US and continental European insurance markets. He is a specialist in transforming insurance service businesses through organic growth and acquisition.

As founder and CEO of Claims Management Group Ltd (CMGL), Jerry oversaw the organic buildout of the outsourced claims and insurance services business into an organisation generating revenues of over $60m and employing 450 staff. He remained as CEO of CMGL until its sale to Capita Plc in 2007, after which he led the company’s integration into Capita and became Chairman of the combined Commercial Insurance Services group.
